We had a long road to get here. They did a decent job, this was for a friend whose mother passed away. A different photo Animefyme did, was given to me that wasn't what I wanted. This picture I finally got after weeks of emailing back and forth. Is what I described to them, I realized these were artists but not mind readers. Everyone was clearly visualing the picture differently. If you just want basic photo to anime conversion they got you covered hands. Custom photos are hit and miss, they get a few right and some of them far too wrong. Write very descriptive as possible even to the minut detail. Anything specific your gonna go through a extensively long process that ain't worth all the money. They did however keep going til they got it right. So they have merit to a degree that is respectable.

I ordered this as a gift for my husband for Christmas. He is a huge dragon ball z fan so having us drawn as characters was the perfect gift. I ordered late so I knew it wouldn't come by Christmas but I did get the digital art work by Christmas. I was initially worried with so many bad reviews but I think it comes down to people not being patient. You are literally getting a personalized drawing. This does take time! I decided to be patient and trust the process. Like I said I received the digital art work right before Christmas and I had 2 minor revisions, Eye color and hair color but I wasn't specific enough when I submitted everything. The got back to me maybe a week after Christmas with my revisions and I then accepted the artwork. I then received my canvas a couple of weeks after. My husband LOVES it! I love it! Again you are getting a personalized drawing from humans it's going to take time. Be patient. It's worth it.

We love the final product! It took a little bit of a wait and an email for updates with the order. We had to wait a little bit more for the canvas. The 12x9 was a bit small but I was able to order a 16x20 for less than what I paid for the 12x9 through another party and that one was here in 2 days as well. I would definitely have another art done but would go through someone else for the canvas print.

When I ordered it said guaranteed by Christmas and I got the digital picture the day after so that was a bit of a bummer. But beautiful work!
